3. The personal information we collect

  • (a) Information you provide to us — when you complete our contact form, request a demo, or otherwise communicate with us: your name, email address, telephone number, company name, and the contents of your message or enquiry.
  • (b) Information collected automatically — when you visit our website, we and our service providers collect technical and usage data through cookies and similar technologies. This includes your IP address (anonymised), device and browser type, the pages you view, the source that referred you, and how you interact with pages. We use Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Microsoft Clarity for this purpose.
  • (c) Product and account information — if you register for one of our products (Pepl, Farm Manager or the AI Dashboard Builder), we collect the information needed to provide that product, as set out in the terms applicable to that product.

4. Why we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and provide demos or information you request;
  • provide, maintain, support and improve our products and services;
  • understand how visitors use our website so that we can improve it;
  • send you information relevant to services you use or have requested, where you have consented or where we are permitted to do so; and
  • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We process your personal information on one or more of the following lawful bases: your consent; the performance of a contract with you; our legitimate business interests; and compliance with the law.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies to function correctly, to understand how it is used, and to improve your experience. We group cookies into:

  • Analytics and performance cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity), which help us understand site usage; and
  • Marketing cookies, used to measure and improve our marketing.

  • Service providers who help us operate our website and business — including Netlify (website hosting), HubSpot (forms and customer-relationship management), Google (analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity analytics). Some of these service providers may process your information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is protected to a standard comparable to that required by POPIA.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, unauthorised access, and misuse. While no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, we work to safeguard your information appropriately.

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this policy, or for as long as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

  • request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • request that we correct or delete your personal information;
  • object to the processing of your personal information;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (where processing is based on consent); and
  • lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
