This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and safeguard it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It applies to our website, bi-analytics.co.za, and to the products and services we provide.

By using our website or providing us with your personal information, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

3. The personal information we collect

We collect and process the following categories of personal information:

(a) Information you provide to us — when you complete our contact form, request a demo, or otherwise communicate with us: your name, email address, telephone number, company name, and the contents of your message or enquiry.

(b) Information collected automatically — when you visit our website, we and our service providers collect technical and usage data through cookies and similar technologies. This includes your IP address (anonymised), device and browser type, the pages you view, the source that referred you, and how you interact with pages. We use Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Microsoft Clarity for this purpose.

(c) Product and account information — if you register for one of our products (Pepl, Farm Manager or the AI Dashboard Builder), we collect the information needed to provide that product, as set out in the terms applicable to that product.

4. Why we use your information

We use your personal information to:

• respond to your enquiries and provide demos or information you request;
• provide, maintain, support and improve our products and services;
• understand how visitors use our website so that we can improve it;
• send you information relevant to services you use or have requested, where you have consented or where we are permitted to do so; and
• comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We process your personal information on one or more of the following lawful bases: your consent; the performance of a contract with you; our legitimate business interests; and compliance with the law.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies to function correctly, to understand how it is used, and to improve your experience. We group cookies into:

• Strictly necessary cookies, required for the site to work;
• Analytics and performance cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity), which help us understand site usage; and
• Marketing cookies, used to measure and improve our marketing.

When you first visit, our cookie banner asks for your consent. You may accept or decline non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on our site. Declining non-essential cookies will not prevent you from using the website.

6. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us operate our website and business — including Wix (website hosting, forms and customer-relationship management), Google (analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity analytics). These providers are required to protect your information and use it only as instructed by us.
• Authorities or third parties where we are required to do so by law, or to protect our legal rights.

Some of these service providers may process your information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is protected to a standard comparable to that required by POPIA.

7. How we protect and retain your information

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, unauthorised access, and misuse. While no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, we work to safeguard your information appropriately.

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this policy, or for as long as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

• request access to the personal information we hold about you;
• request that we correct or delete your personal information;
• object to the processing of your personal information;
• withdraw your consent at any time (where processing is based on consent); and
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at brandon@bi-analytics.co.za.
